The main objective of this study is tocombine between the employment service technique and the electronic customer relationship management (ECRM). Now Companies and Offices are working manually in Jordan. So we have to make an important goal to fulfill in order to have a more accurate system in place to gain and manage the requirements of the business and the service for the customers, to get the number of the unhappy customers decreasing and proving that this way is more effective and affective along the large numbers of unhappy customers, while it is so hard to get every customer pleased but Web-based Systems can be easy to manage the quality control as an online supported tool. Making the web-based customer support system a well-organized and well maintained system and by that it can be called an Electronic Customer Relationship Management System (ECRM) and its crucial for any online survey, it can be reached by related institutions, anytime. anywhere that can add values to the users. Thus, this study proposed a web based system to address and decrease the rate of unemployed Jordanian

A New Correlation for Predicting Aeration Efficiency for Air Diffused Systems

    Get PDF
Aeration efficiency is defined as the ratio of the oxygen transfer to the power consumed. It provides the best evaluation of the effectiveness of any aeration system. Most recent studies in oxygenation process focused on investigating the vital parameters affecting the oxygenation process without paying attention to the power consumption. The goal of this study is to establish an empirical correlation that describes aeration efficiency behavior with different orifice diameters. This work has two main parts: studying bubble hydrodynamics and aeration efficiency investigation. The first goal of examining bubble hydrodynamics was to calculate some necessary parameters that have a known effect on an aeration process. A second outcome from investigating bubble hydrodynamics was the development of two correlations for predicting bubble size and frequency with correlation factors of 0.95 and 0.92, respectively. In addition, the dimensionless analysis also was employed to correlate the parameters significantly affecting aeration efficiency. The new developed empirical formula was derived from 120 different experiments with a correlation factor of R^2=0.94 using SOLVER nonlinear regression in MS EXCEL. Five parameters were found to be affecting factors on the aeration performance, namely: Gas holdup, static to chamber pressure ratio, submergence height to tank diameter ratio, and aerated to tank area ratio. The parameter with the highest impact was the pressure ratio term, which has the largest power exponent of 0.721. Future work in this aspect will be implementing optimization techniques to find the best orifice size to be used in manufacturing aeration membranes

Effect of Bending Anisotropy on the 3D Conformation of Short DNA Loops

The equilibrium three dimensional shape of relatively short loops of DNA is studied using an elastic model that takes into account anisotropy in bending rigidities. Using a reasonable estimate for the anisotropy, it is found that cyclized DNA with lengths that are not integer multiples of the pitch take on nontrivial shapes that involve bending out of planes and formation of kinks. The effect of sequence inhomogeneity on the shape of DNA is addressed, and shown to enhance the geometrical features. These findings could shed some light on the role of DNA conformation in protein--DNA interactions

Phenomenon of Masculinity and Femininity: An Etymological Study

The classification of human beings, animals, and inanimate objects into masculine and feminine is quite important. As language is deemed a vivid picture of life and the society we live in, we have found it influenced by this classification. When we consider the history of the Indo-European, the Semitic and Hamitic languages, we usually find a distinction between masculine and feminine nouns. However, some languages provided a detailed picture of nouns’ gender as they classified nouns into masculine, feminine, and neuter or more. Generally speaking, most common languages classified nouns into Masculine and feminine. Thus, this study was conducted so as to deeply and completely understand this linguistic phenomenon. Moreover, the study focused on noun gender classification in Arabic and investigated the concept of “Al-Asalah” (Etymology). Furthermore, the study showed that ancient Arab linguists were greatly interested in this phenomenon. As part of their interests, Arab linguists wrote various books that pinpointed the need to differentiate between masculine and feminine nouns. Additionally, this study investigated the grammatical categories and their relations to femininity and masculinity. After that, the study linked between Femininity and perceptions then explained types of feminine nouns in Arabic and their morphological markers compared with other Semitic languages.

The present study is an attempt to investigate EFL university teachers' attitudes about the importance of the dictionary as an effective learning tool. It also aims at identifying the type of dictionaries preferred by teachers and the types of skills that EFL learners can be improved by the use of the dictionary. Forty EFL teachers responded to a written questionnaire, which included 22 statements. The findings generally revealed that participants do have positive attitudes towards the dictionary as a learning aid. Moreover, the findings revealed that electronic dictionaries are preferred over paper-based ones. However, contrary to our expectations, the findings revealed that although EFL university teachers appreciate the importance of the dictionary, they do not pass this positivity to their students and that they believe using a dictionary is the students' responsibility. The study concluded that by incorporating dictionary usage into classroom practice regularly, EFL teachers will raise their students' awareness of the type of information they can find in the dictionary, how they can use it to serve academic purposes, and become more autonomous learners. Synthesis and Functional Evaluation of DNA-Assembled Polyamidoamine Dendrimer Clusters for Cancer Cell-Specific Targeting

    Get PDF
SummaryWe sought to produce dendrimers conjugated to different biofunctional moieties (fluorescein [FITC] and folic acid [FA]), and then link them together using complementary DNA oligonucleotides to produce clustered molecules that target cancer cells that overexpress the high-affinity folate receptor. Amine-terminated, generation 5 polyamidoamine (G5 PAMAM) dendrimers are first partially acetylated and then conjugated with FITC or FA, followed by the covalent attachment of complementary, 5′-phosphate-modified 34-base-long oligonucleotides. Hybridization of these oligonucleotide conjugates led to the self-assembly of the FITC- and FA-conjugated dendrimers. In vitro studies of the DNA-linked dendrimer clusters indicated specific binding to KB cells expressing the folate receptor. Confocal microscopy also showed the internalization of the dendrimer cluster. These results demonstrate the ability to design and produce supramolecular arrays of dendrimers using oligonucleotide bridges. This will also allow for further development of DNA-linked dendrimer clusters as imaging agents and therapeutics

Twistor theory on a finite graph

We show how the description of a shear-free ray congruence in Minkowski space as an evolving family of semi-conformal mappings can naturally be formulated on a finite graph. For this, we introduce the notion of holomorphic function on a graph. On a regular coloured graph of degree three, we recover the space-time picture. In the spirit of twistor theory, where a light ray is the more fundamental object from which space-time points should be derived, the line graph, whose points are the edges of the original graph, should be considered as the basic object. The Penrose twistor correspondence is discussed in this context
